Ember Brulez is a PhD researcher in applied linguistics at the Italian section of the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication. Her research interests include digital discourse analysis, multimodality, pragmatics, foreign language didactics.
Ember obtained her MA in Interpreting (Dutch-Italian-French), after which she completed a Postgraduate degree in Conference Interpreting. Her PhD project, supervised by Prof. Dr. Irene Cenni, focuses on the multimodality of Italian language teaching and learning across digital platforms.
