I am a doctoral researcher in Asian Languages and Cultures (Buddhist Studies) at Ghent University, where I am part of the Gandhāra Corpora Project. My academic work lies at the intersection of Buddhist Studies, Sanskrit philosophy, manuscript cultures, and comparative literature. I hold a Master's degree in Sanskrit from Jadavpur University, specializing in Advaita Vedānta, and I have graduated with top academic distinctions throughout my studies.
My research interests include Indian and Buddhist philosophy, manuscriptology and palaeography, gender and ecological thought in classical literature, and cross-cultural literary reception. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at national and international conferences, with a forthcoming publication from Springer Nature reflecting my interdisciplinary engagement with language, rhythm, and philosophy.
I am trained in several classical and modern languages, including Sanskrit, Pali, Prakrit, German, English, Bengali, and Hindi, and I have teaching experience in Sanskrit, German, and English. Alongside my academic work, I am actively involved in social education initiatives and perform Bengali folk music and Rabindra Saṅgīt.
