Eloise Forestier is an FWO postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University (2021 - 2025). Her project focusses on the study of Swedish periodicals of the late 19C to trace the British and French roots of Swedish feminism. She has published the monograph Transnational Feminism in 19C Swedish Literature and Periodical Culture: Entangled Dreams and Cross Cultural Encounters (Brill, 2024) on this project. She also specializes in British literature, culture, and periodical studies in the long 19C. She has published several articles on the transnational and political influence of women editors from Britain, France and Sweden. Eloise is part of the editorial team of JEPS.
