Joni is a PhD student in the Language and Translation Technology Team at Ghent University, where she currently researches automated writing support for Dutch learner writing, as well as automated scoring of writing products by Flemish adolescents. After a Masters degree in Computational Linguistics, she obtained an Advanced Masters degree in Speech and Language Technology (AI), both of which at KU Leuven.
