Abstract

API is a project for the collection of spoken Italian dialogues. The project has involved several Italian scientific institutions. The corpus contains high-quality recordings of Map task dialogues collected in Naples, Bari and Pisa. The dialogues have been manually transcribed and annotated. The API corpus is ideal for phonetic analysis at both the segmental and the prosodic level, and for conversational analysis of pragmatically constrained interactions.
