Since October 2016, I teach and navigate a group of about 20 students within the practical course "Historische Praktijk 2 – Oefening: Vroegmoderne Tijd" (Bachelor of Arts in History – Second year). This advanced course wants to teach students, through practical exercises, the necessary skills to (1) search independently for sources and literature, starting from a specific research question or sets of questions, (2) to chose and apply the appropriate methods and strategies in order to interpret and analyze the sources and literature critically in relation to the questions or sets of questions, and (3) to synthesize the results of the research.
