Sara Fontana is a PhD student at Verona and the University of Ghent (BE). Her research project is based on the study of dramaturgical rewritings of Dante and his works in contemporary Europe.
In addition to participating in international and other conferences, together with some colleagues from UniVr, she has organised and coordinated the international doctoral conference Margins and forgotten places (17-19 May 21, proceedings in progress). His article Hell in the cave: falling down to find the light has been published in the international journal Performance Research (Nov 2021, https://doi.org/10.1080/13528165.2021.1958642), and his contribution Dante on stage will be part of the Dante Alive editorial project, following a conference held online at Princeton University on November, 11-12th (forthcoming publication).
She was invited to open a cycle of seminars on Dante Alighieri's Paradise at the University of Turin (IT), offering a lecture entitled Visioni paradisiache in multimediali universi.
Currently, she is visiting scholar at Ghent University, at the SPAM research centre.
