Serafina is currently a PhD student working on the DAWN-project, which explores the possibilities of using machine learning and artificial intelligence for Dutch automated writing evaluation. She is a member of the Language and Translation Technology Team (LT3) and is co-supervised by prof. dr. Orphée De Clercq and prof. dr. Véronique Hoste.
