My research focuses on the development of Standard Chinese education and its impact on the Biyue branch of the Hani minority in Mojiang County, Yunnan Province. Hani is one of the cross-border languages in the core areas of the Belt and Road Initiative between China’s borderlands and Southeast Asian countries. This research can provide language support for national strategies, which is conducive to the development of local culture and the stability of borders.
