Chloé Gumy is a PhD candidate in History at Ghent University and in medieval French literature at University of Lausanne (Switzerland). She is part of different research groups such as the Institute of Early Modern History (UGhent) and the CEMEP (Centre d’études médiévales et post-médiévales – Unil).
She received her master’s degree from University of Lausanne in Medieval French and History, with a specialization in “Culture, civilisation and resurgence of the Middle Ages” in 2018. she chose to make the most of her dual training in literature and history and began a joint PhD between the universities of Lausanne and Ghent in 2020. Her project “Women governing the act of writing: the princesses of Burgundy and Savoy (1470-1550)” focuses mainly on the literary and cultural networks around these princesses.
