My research focuses on women’s rights organizations in early twentieth-century China, especially the suffrage movements of the 1910s and 1920s. Using newspapers, women’s journals, and organizational documents, I study how women formed associations and advocated for political participation and social reform, informed by social movement studies and feminist theory.
