Sander Berghmans obtained a master degree in History (2013) and Business Economics (2014) at the University of Ghent. He was employed as a researcher at the Vlerick Business school from 2015 untill 2016. Since 2016 he is working as an assistant at the Ghent University, where he also works on a PhD project that will be titled: Dukes and abbots: The impact of estate management on production and social relations in the Southern Netherlands (1650-1800).
