Liubou Pazniakova is currently doing her PhD in Art Science at IPEM within a WEBB project of the Erasmus Mundus programme Action II. She previously completed her Master in Theory and Methods of Training and Education in the Field of Musical Art at Masherov Vitebsk State University in Belarus after having graduated from the same university specialising in Musical Art and the English Language. Before that she had finished (with honours) Sollertinsky Vitebsk State College of Music in Belarus specialising in Choral Conducting. Her research at IPEM focuses on the role of movement in the conductor-musician synchronisation. She studies the influence of performer’s musical gesture on the interaction with conductor’s expressive timings in music performance.
