Tiziano Toracca is Visiting Professor at the Department of Literary Studies at Ghent University. He graduated in Law and in Italian Language and Literature. He got a Joint PhD in Italian and Comparative Literature and in Literary Studies at the University of Perugia and at the University of Ghent (2017). He coordinated the Jean Monnet Project I work therefore I am European (http://www.iworkthereforeiam.eu/) at the Department of Philosophy and Education Sciences of the University of Torino and he worked as research fellow at CAS SEE of the University of Rijeka (http://cas.uniri.hr/). His research focuses on Italian Contemporary Literature, Modernism and Neomodernism, literature and labour. He is member of the Center for European Modernism Studies (https://www.cemstudies.eu/) and of the Italian Society for Law and Literature and he is editor of the Journal «Allegoria».
Tiziano Toracca è Visiting Professor presso il Dipartimento di Literary Studies alla Ghent University. È laureato in Giurisprudenza e in Lingua e Letteratura Italiana. Ha ottenuto un Joint PhD in Italianistica e Letterature Comparate (Università degli Studi di Perugia) e in Literary Studies (Ghent University). Ha coordinato un Jean Monnet Project sul tema del lavoro e l’identità sociale (http://www.iworkthereforeiam.eu/) per il Dipartimento di Filosofia e Scienza dell’Educazione dell’Università di Torino ed è stato research fellow presso il CAS-SEE, Università di Rijeka (http://cas.uniri.hr/). Si occupa di narrativa italiana contemporanea, modernismo e neomodernismo, lavoro e letteratura. È membro del Center for European Modernism Studies (https://www.cemstudies.eu/) e della Italian Society for Law and Literature ed è redattore di «Allegoria».
My research focuses on the Italian contemporary narrative (in particular on Volponi and Pasolini), Modernism and Neomodernism, Law & Humanities (in this field, I give special attention to the theme of Labour).
