Amaury Van Parys is a PhD candidate at the Linguistics Department of Ghent University. In his doctoral research, he investigates lexical and grammatical characteristics of L2 classroom input as well as the effect of such characteristics on L2 learners’ reading comprehension. Prior to the start of his PhD in 2022, he obtained a Master’s in Translation and a Master’s in Language Teaching from Ghent University in 2020 and 2021, respectively.
