Abstract

The aim of this project is an analysis of how media, “multimedia” in particular, functioned in a sixteenth-century local context. By doing so this project will offer a methodologically innovative contribution to the broader international and interdisciplinary debate on the relation between the sixteenth-century Reformation and the new media that developed in the early modern period.
