Music bio-feedback systems with prediction properties

Start - End
2016 - 2024 (ongoing)

The theory of embodied music cognition is centered on the strong coupling of human body and musical patterns. The human body mediates through actions the information from and to the musical environment.

The aim of this project is to create musical-based systems that react on the action of one person and are able to modify it in a predictive way, trying to "improve" the behaviour itself. These systems are based on machine learning techniques and physical modeling.

Application span many fields from sport, to reabilitation to artistic performances.
