In 2012 he published his experimental work on the aerodynamics of saxophone mouthpieces and in the same year, he joined the group of the Delft University of Technology for design and 3D printing of musical instruments. Results of the application of 3D printing to musical instruments has been presented at scientific conferences (SMAC conference in Stockholm 2013) and at musical events with professional musicians (Den Haag Conservatory, North sea Jazz Festival).
