During my BA studies, I majored in philosophy and wrote my BA thesis on the topic of "Zhuangzi's View on Liberty". In my MA and doctoral studies, I majored in Chinese philosophy, and my research mainly focuses on Zhuangzi's philosophy, Taoism, and the philosophy of death, especially studying the understanding of death in different culture through a comparative perspective between China and the West. The theme of my doctoral thesis is Zhuangzi's thought on life and death, which extends to the understanding of life and death by different schools and figures in the history of Chinese thought, and analyzes how they influence modern Chinese society and the Chinese people's concepts and views on death.
