Thomas Vandormael is preparing a joint-PhD (VUB and UGent) on came glasswork during the belle époque (1880-1914), within the context of private residences. His interests include Art Nouveau, came glass, urbanism and architecture at the end of the 19th century, the Flemish Primitives and late medieval illumination (Ghent-Bruges school).
Thomas Vandormael holds a Licenciate in Art Sciences (KU Leuven), a Masters in International Politics (KU Leuven), a Masters in Business Economics (KU Leuven) and a Masters in General Management (Vlerick Business School).
