Tim Clerbaut (° Ekeren, 1988) is an AAP-member of the research unit in historical archaeology with a focus on Provincial Roman Archaeology and is also a researcher of the Historical Archaeology Research Group (HARG). He studied archaeology at Ghent University, where he obtained a master degree in Geoarchaeology and Archaeology of North West Europe. After having worked in the Flemish commercial archaeology, he returned to his Alma Mater to focus on the education of material studies, especially of the Gallo-Roman period. He combines his AAP-position with a PhD-research on the production, distribution and (re)use of ceramic building materials in the Roman North.
