Eline Huygens works as a doctoral researcher and teaching assistant at the Centre for Research on Culture and Gender. She holds a master degree in History (2012) and Conflict & Development (2014). Her research interests include gender and religion/secularism, sexuality, and intimacies. In her doctoral research, she investigates how religious beliefs and teachings shape the experiences and practices of Roman Catholic women pertaining to intimate relationships and sexuality. Furthermore, she is book review editor of the journal Religion and Gender. She is also affiliated to KU Leuven, Faculty of Theology and Religious Studies, Research Unit of Pastoral and Empirical Theology.
I provide educational support and/or guest lectures in the framework of the linking programme and master programme Gender and Diversity, in particular in the following courses:
