Katrijn Gijswijt is a PhD student at the department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University. She holds a Master's degree in Dutch and Scandinavian Linguistics and Literature, and an additional Master's degree in Bilingualism. Since December 2022 she is working on a research project about the effectiveness of L2 didactics for low-literate, low-educated adult learners.
