Elise Dupré is a PhD candidate and assistant at the Department of Art History, Musicology and Theatre Studies at Ghent University. Her PhD project focuses on the use of images and visual strategies in art books published between 1945 and 1985 and is supervised by prof. dr. Steven Jacobs.

Dupré obtained a BA in Design at LUCA School of Arts (2014) and a BA and MA in art history at Ghent University (2019). Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, Dupré completed a graduate program that focused on land art at the College of Architecture at Texas Tech University (2018) and has worked at various cultural institutions such as VRT, MER. Paper Kunsthalle and ZUT ALORS! Inc New York.
