Hanne Janssens is a PhD candidate in Literary Studies at Ghent University. She studied English and German Linguistics and Literature at Ghent University. Her research interests lie primarily in contemporary German narrative, literary theory and comparative literature. Her current project focuses on the reception and interpretation of the ecological though in contemporary German narrative prose under the supervision of Prof. Benjamin Biebuyck, Prof. Christine Kanz and Prof. Thorsten Ries.
