Irma Schampheleer is a researcher at the Department of Translation, Interpreting, and Communication. She is currently working on a project co-funded by the European Parliament, named ConfAI. The aim of this project is to improve AI-generated interpreting speeches in English and French using Retrieval-Augmented Generation for conference interpreting students.
Previously, Irma studied at the same Ghent University department, where she obtained her BA in Applied Linguistics and MA in Interpreting.
