Joren Somers obtained an MA in English and German linguistics and literary studies (2013) and a BA in Dutch linguistics and literary studies (2014), both from the University of Ghent. After having worked as a teacher for five years, Joren joined the Language Productivity at Work project on 1 October 2019. His research focuses on Dat-Nom case alternations in Icelandic and German and their respective degrees of productivity.
