I am a teaching and research assistant English in the department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication. I conduct corpus-based and experimental research into production and perception of complaints in intercultural corporate (computer-mediated) communication, focusing on the balance between interpersonal and operational stance, both on the micro-level of linguistic realizations and on the macro-level of rhetorical components of the customer-employee complaint sequence.
