Sven Gellens works as a researcher on the financial and behavioral impact of culture on strategy realization.
His original research focus was on the philosophy of Nietzsche, Merleau-Ponty and themes in 19th century and contemporary biological and cultural evolution at Ghent University (Belgium) with a PhD dissertation on the reconstruction of embodiment - Einverleibung in German - in Nietzsche's genealogical writings: a model of transformational evolution that integrates biological and cultural information.
He studied Philosophy in Ghent, UC Louvain and Radbout University (Netherlands) and International Executive Master in Business Administration (CU Louvain and Vilnius University).
He combined his research activities between 2008-2016 with teaching assignments in secondary education, university colleges and teacher training.
Over the years 2016-2019 he developed the active citizenship curriculum and coordinated the implementation of the associated emancipatory didactics for secondary education for the GO! Education in Flanders, in combination with European projects.
Currently, he is the General Manager and partner of Mindshift Europe a consulting company that facilitates executives in optimizing strategy execution through culture.
He regularly speaks at numerous events or conferences (BMI, Paperjam Delano Business Club Luxembourg, PMI, etc.) or lectureships (University of Antwerp, University of Vilnius, o.a.) on strategy execution, organizational culture, 21st century leadership or philosophy.
