Wim Vanrie is an FWO Junior postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University at the HICO research group of the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences. His main research topics are history of analytical philosophy and epistemology. He is especially interested in the question of how philosophical conceptions of logic evolved and transformed during the early history of analytical philosophy in the work of such philosophers as Gottlob Frege, Bertrand Russell, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Rudolf Carnap, and WVO Quine.
