Wim Vanrie is an doctor-assistant in Epistemology at Ghent University at the HICO research group of the Department of Philosophy and Moral Sciences. His main research topics are history of analytical philosophy and epistemology. One of his main interests in the history of analytical philosophy concerns the evolving conceptions of logic during the early history of analytical philosophy in the work of such philosophers as Gottlob Frege, Bertrand Russell, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Rudolf Carnap, and WVO Quine. In epistemology, his main interests are the epistemology of common sense, hinge epistemology, and deep disagreement. In his spare time, Wim enjoys consuming and discussing Ghent patisserie.
