Carola Strobl is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University. Her research interests focus on computer-assisted language learning and academic writing in a foreign language. In her PhD dissertation, she investigated the use of online technologies for academic writing instruction in a foreign language. She has taught at universities in Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Belgium.
