Atdhe Hetemi

In 2006, Atdhe Hetemi started teaching the Contemporary History and Politics of South East Europe at the Turkish College 'Mehmet Akif' in Prishtina. He stayed in that position until 2007. However, since then Mr. Hetemi has been continuously in close interactions with students of different academic institutions. As a Researcher at the UNDP, he had the opportunity to provide lectures to graduate-level students in different summer schools and university courses on a part-time basis. For example, when the Universum College in Prishtina organized a spring school entitled “Sustainable Human Development” Mr. Hetemi presented a course on quantitative methodologies for researching the current and evolving trends in human development at the regional and national level. Similarly, he also lectured a course at the international summer school entitled “Balkan Peace Program,” organized by the University of Gjilani. Here, the students were introduced with the concept of early warning and conflict causing factors. Humanistica College was also one of the higher education institutions for which Mr. Hetemi was in charge of preparing the curricula for the course “History of Political Systems in Kosovo,” lecturing, evaluating and grading the students. The students evaluated his inputs with distinction. Mr. Hetemi's substantial and successful teaching experience in both high school and graduate programs demonstrate his abilities to relate to students and serve as proof of his excellent communication skills.
