Anne-Sophie Rouckhout (°1994) obtained her BA (2015) and MA (2016) in Greek and Latin Linguistics and Literature, her teacher's degree (2017) and her MA in Historical Linguistics and Literature (2018) at Ghent University.
In 2018, she joined the research team of the Database of Byzantine Book Epigrams (DBBE) as a Research Assistant. DBBE is an ongoing project at Ghent University which makes available both textual and contextual data of book epigrams - also known as “metrical paratexts” - from medieval Greek manuscripts dating up to the fifteenth century.
She has co-organized GROWING CORPORA. Byzantine Book Epigrams and Online Text Collections (24-25 June 2020), an international conference to be held in Ghent, but cancelled due to the COVID pandemic, and lecture series on the multifaceted genre of book epigrams: Speaking From the Margins.
