France Schils is a doctoral researcher at Ghent University, affiliated with the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication. She holds a Master of Western Literature, which she obtained at KU Leuven in 2022. Her research focuses on the (self-)representation and translation practices of French (women) translators during the Interwar period. She is associated with research groups TRACE (Ghent University) and CLIV (Ghent University & VUB).
