Huanyu Zhao is a political scientist specializing in international studies, political economy, and political methodology. Her research delves into the mechanisms of how China, International Organizations (IOs), and the landscape of global governance evolve in the context of shifting global order in both the short and long run. She has a track record of publications in academic and policy-relevant publications based on extensive fieldwork and mixed-method designs. She is the chair of the IOs and methodology panel at ISA and a member of the FWO global governance scientific research community.
Huanyu Zhao is the postdoc researcher and scientific manager of the overall project. Content-wise, she primarily works on China’s conception of global (in)justice and China’s foreign policy as part of Work Packages 3 and 4.
