I studied classical philology at the University of Buenos Aires. After following the Byzantine Greek Summer School of Dumbarton Oaks at Washington DC (2016), I arrived in Ghent University, where I completed my PhD (2021) as a member of the Database of Byzantine Book Epigrams project. I am currently a postdoctoral fellow of the Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO), studying marginalia in Byzantine manuscripts of historians. In 2023, I was awarded a Hannah Seeger Davis Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Hellenic Studies at Princeton University to write a monograph on verse marginalia. I am interested in the functions of Byzantine poetry and the material context of its textual transmission. I am also experienced in palaeography, codicology and textual criticism.
