The Centre for Diversity and Learning (Steunpunt Diversiteit & Leren) supported the development of Community Schools in Flanders. This support consisted off (1) Developing a website on Community Schools (www.bredeschool.org), (2) Research on the state of Community Schools (fe. Community Schools: three years after the pilot project funding; Community Schools in the policy of Central Cities in Flanders; ...), (3) Writing articles on Community Schools, (4) Development of practical booklets to support the work of Community Schools (Starten met een Brede School, Ouders in de Brede School ...), (5) Organizing Conferences on Community Schools, (6) Training/support to cities/schools to develop a Community School and (7) Policy development (support to the ministry of Education).
