Abstract

This project aims to determine the text characteristics of reading materials used in the Flemish EFL and FFL classroom, as well as the role of the L2 teacher in the text selection process and the influence of text characteristics on learners' comprehension. The investigation combines NLP-driven and behavioural methods.
