This research project aimed at gaining insight in the way teacher training institutions prepare futur teachers in dealing with diversity and poverty in the classroom. Additionaly, this research project formulated recommendations for implementing integrared curricula regarding making use of diversity and increasing equal oppurtunities in early childhood education.
