Sara De Vuyst is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Languages and Cultures at Ghent University for the ERC-project ‘Later-in-Life Intimacy: Women’s Unruly Practices, Places and Representations’. She obtained a PhD in 2016 and worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Communication Studies. Her previous studies focused on gender issues in journalism. Her current research interests are feminist media studies, women’s later-in-life intimacy and sexuality, gender and media representation, production and audiences, sexuality, experiences of (older) queer women.
