Sofie Verkest is a lecturer in business and academic English at the Linguistics Department. In her research, she focuses on science communication, citizen science, and the relationship between media, science, and politics. Before stepping into the world of research and education, she was active as a journalist and worked as a copywriter, project manager, and policy advisor in the field of science communication.
