For the international research project "Comparative Intellectual History of Chinese Studies" sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (Taiwan), our department conducted the "Chinese Studies in Belgium" part. I did most of the interviews with (almost) retired China-experts/academics and co-authored an article with Bart Dessein called "China in Belgium: From a religious, economic and political interest, to the development of an academic discipline".
